Trina Body Ramzinsky 74 of Troutville passed away Monday, December 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Emma Hill Body. Trina spent most of her adult life (37 years) in west Texas. She was an avid golfer and traveler. She collected southwestern art and turtles of all kinds. Trina was a member of Peace Presbyterian Church and was known as a joyful and creative person. Surviving are her sisters, Nancy Body Nolen and Betty Body Smith both of Roanoke; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the many cargivers who provided Trina with such loving care during the last years of her life. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the League for Animal Protection P O Box 561 Fincastle, Virginia 24090, the American Heart Association 4504 Starkey Road Roanoke, Virginia 24018, or if you prefer you may bring a single flower and leave it on the casket at the visitation or funeral. A funeral service will be conducted 1 pm Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Stuart Revercomb. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
