Elizabeth Ann (Tootsie) Beck 81 of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, George Albert Sink and mother, Elizabeth Perdue Sink. Tootsie was a graduate of Jefferson High School and attended Radford College. Friends and acquaintances will long remember her for her ability to forgive anyone of anything, and how she could make you laugh and brighten your day. She was so crafty and fond of gardening , doll making, and loved her cats dearly. Her smile and laughter will be sadly missed by everyone. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Surviving are her sons, Joey Beck and wife Lisa of Salem; Billy Beck of Vinton; granddaughter, Mattie Beck and her mother Terra Bellman; sister, Marilyn C. Sink all of Vinton. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the nursing staff in the memory care unit at Richfield Retirement Center for their many acts of kindness and compassion. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2013 in the Chapel at Sherwood Memorial Park by Chaplain Thomas Clay. The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
