Carol, I am so sorry to hear about Angelo. Many times I have looked across the street at your Mom's house and thought about all of you. You are in our prayers.
Carol & Chris...I am sorry about Angelo's passing. I knew Angelo while working with him in the composing room at the Roanoke Times from 1985 until he retired. You both have my deepest sympathy, I know he will be greatly missed...Ann Staley
I worked with Angelo at Frank Dobbins Gulf in Princeton, WV in 1961-62. He was such a friendly gentleman and always was willing to help train young men that need assistance. So sorry to hear of his passing and will be praying for your family. There were so many funny stories about working at that station. Gene Fields would play the drums on oil cans and we would play pranks on Mr. Dobbins who had problems with the 'bottle'. I trusted Christ 9 years later and always wondered where Angelo had moved. I hope he had a good life. I can only imagine that he was a good husband and father, because his temperment was always so calm. We are thinking of you at this time. In Christ Bob Wilkerson
Carol: I was sorry to hear of Angelo's passing. I think of the two of you from time to time and wonder how the two of you are doing.Both of you had a positive effect on me through the Grace MYF and I still attend church regularly. I am sure you continued to be outstanding role models after your move to Roanoke. May God bless you.
