Jack Prillaman (Jay) Fisher, III 35 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He was preceded by his grandfathers, Jack Prillaman Fisher, Sr., John Bocock and cousins, PFC Andrew Mottesheard and Keith LaPrade. Jay an avid outdoors man, especially enjoying hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors on the family farm. He so loved his family dearly and they will forever cherish his great personality, sense of humor and his giving heart. Jay will be dearly missed by all and will forever be in our hearts. Surviving are his son, Baby J.J.; mother, Linda Fisher Chapman and husband, Mike; father, Jack Prillaman Fisher, Jr. and friend Linda Tyree; sisters, Angela Fisher Lane and husband Mike, Chrystal Fisher Flores; brother, Timothy Fisher; grandmothers, Eva Bocock, Loleine Fisher; nieces, Trinity and baby Mia; nephew, Johnathan; his fishing pal, Larry. Along with a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Callaway Volunteer Fire Department, 8380 Callaway Road, Callaway, Va. 24067 or to Emmanuel Wesleyan Church Youth Missionary Fund, 402 Hershberger Road, Roanoke, VA. 24012 in his name. A memorial service celebrating Jay's life will be held 2:00pm Saturday, August 24, 2013 in Emmanuel Wesleyan Church with Pastor Steve O'Dell officiating. Inurnment will be private on the family farm.
