Mary Madeline Kilcolin 91 of Roanoke affectionately known as "Noonie" went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 11, 2013. She was preceded by her husband Eddie Kilcolin; two children, Samuel Shelton, Rosalee Shelton and a grandson, Billy Green.
Those left to cherish fond memories are her three daughters, Jewel Shiefert, Shirley Wilkins, and husband Hank of Oklahoma, Barbara Allen and husband Mike of Roanoke; a special granddaughter, Michele Rhudy and husband Jonathan of Midlothian, VA; along with six great grandchildren, Morgan Rhudy, Hannah Rhudy, Addison Rhudy, Allison Shiefert, Alisha Shiefert, and Taylor Green
She was a member and a Sunday School Teacher at Belmont Baptist Church. "Noonie" will be remembered for her spunky personality and her love for the Lord.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the second floor Nursing Staff at Eastwood Assisted Living and to a special nurse, Eva Kerenigi.
A memorial service celebrating Mary's life will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at St. Philip Lutheran Church with Pastor David Derrick officiating. Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory, 366-0707.
