Q: How did you meet Alan?
A: I met Allen volunteering at center in the square in Roanoke VA. we became quick friends he was always friendly to me .Allen helped my John get his driver's license we would go out to eat, we did a lot of different things at center in the square.Allen has been on my mind for the past few months I all so remember when I fell in Walmart parking lot on Christmas Eve and he talk on the phone and ended up taking me to the ER Christmas Day I have missed him in my life Allen was a very good friend to me and my son I will miss him and was sorry to look him up to find out that he had passed Sandra C.

Alan was like an older brother for my first 18 years at home. He married Mary Ann and me in 1983. Well read, caring for others, and loved his family.
