Elizabeth M. Snead 73 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 13, 2013. She was preceded by a grandson, Alton James "A.J." Snead; parents, Nanny and Joseph Parker; sisters, Marie Markham, Chris Hartman; and a brother, Jimmy Parker. Elizabeth, when she was able attended Oakland Baptist Church in Roanoke.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna Weaver and husband Lee; sons, Gordon Snead and Gary Snead; five grandchildren, Christopher Snead, Jessica Weaver, Andrew Weaver, Marie Altice and Corey Altice; two great grandchildren, Mariah and Madison Pohlman; two sisters, Frankie Maxwell, Jane Hunley along with a host of other relatives and friends,
A graveside service celebrating Elizabeth's life will be held 11:00am Friday, May 17, 2013 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park,
