Gabriel F. Gomez, 31, of Roanoke, is now with our heavenly Father, passing away, Saturday, April 20, 2013. Gabriel is survived by his mother, Delia Rios; brother, Michael Gomez and wife Carolina; fiancé Kim Bishop; daughter, Shaylee Angel Gomez; son, Gabriel Taylor Gomez; sisters, Noelia Gomez and Melina Gomez; grandparents; Julia Rios, Domitila Gomez, and Felix Gomez; uncles, Efrain and wife Rachel Rios, Ismael and wife Luz Rios, Nelson Rios, and Nelson Gomez; with numerous cousins and extended family. There will be a service celebrating Gabriel's life, Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, with Pastor Ben Jeffcoat officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540) 366-0707.
