Obituary of Christina Cox

Christina L. Cox 89 of Roanoke formerly of Fairmont, WV. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was preceded by her husband, Homer W. Cox.
Mrs. Cox served her country proudly in the Women's Army Corp during World War II as a Medical Technician at the Ashford General Hospital which is now the Greenbrier Hotel.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas R. Cox and wife Jeannie of New Manchester, WV, Robert D. Cox and wife Carol of Roanoke, VA; daughter, Deborah Harper and husband Rick of Mason Town, WV; granddaughters, Amory, Haley, Allena; great granddaughter, Lilia.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brandon Oaks Nursing Home for their care and support of Mrs. Cox.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Fairmont.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
