Obituary of Marcia Hancock

Marcia W. Hancock, 82 of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was preceded by her husband, Milton R. "Jon" Hancock; a sister, Alice Falls; two brothers, Frank and George Hammond Williams. Ms. Hancock was a life-long resident of Roanoke. She received her nursing degree in 1973 from Roanoke Memorial Hospital and spent most of her career caring for veterans and the elderly. Ms. Hancock is survived by a daughter, Lynda R. Knezovich and husband, Rob, of Roanoke; a son, Roger Wilson, of Oregon; two brothers, John S Williams and wife Judy, and Ronald R Williams both of Bedford; a sister, Juanita Kingrea and husband, Kenneth, of Christiansburg; a grandson, James E Underwood, a granddaughter, Evelyn R Knezovich, both of Roanoke; three great-grand children, along with many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
