Shirley Camden, 64, of Boones Mill, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 25, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Camden Sr.; and her parents, Charles and Lucy McKay. Mrs. Camden was a very special lady, mother, grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her loving son and a special daughter-in-law, James Jr. and Jennifer Camden; three very special grandchildren; sister, Donna Duckworth; brothers, Charles McKay, Steven McKay and their wives; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
The family would like to send a very special thank you to the staff and team of Good Samaritan Hospice for their care a support during this time.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Mrs. Camden's life from 1 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at her son's residence, 6988 Backcreek Circle, Boones Mill, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with the services. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com.
