Josephine Schultz 89 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2013. She was preceded by her husband of 71 years, Joseph I. Schultz; great granddaughter, Olivia Paige Goldberg and her parents, Jack and Verna Fox. Mrs. Schultz was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be dearly missed by all. Surviving are her two sons, Stephen Schultz and wife Betty, Mark Schultz and wife Tuul all of Roanoke; grandchildren, Chris Schultz, Lori Spradlin, Jeff Schultz, Emily Goldberg; Tulga B, Shijir B; eight great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Lawrence Baber from Huntington, WV. The family would like to give a special thank you to Unur Gungaajav for her dedication and loving care for Josephine. And also all the care given by Dolgorjav Bataa, Cathy Dent, Kim Shears, Janet Hayes and all the nurses and staff at Gentle Shepherd Hospice. A graveside service celebrating Mrs. Schultz's life will be held Tuesday, 1:30pm, February 12, 2013 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Dr. Darryl Crim officiating. Friends may visit with the family before the graveside, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home.
