Obituary of Mary Ann McCullough

Mary Ann McCullough, resident of Spring Hill, TN, formerly of Roanoke, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, February 1st, 2013, at the age of 70. Ms. McCullough was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Bowles; son, Sean Lee McCullough; and brother in law, Ken Fordyce. Ms. McCullough was born on February 28, 1942 in Rocky Mount, VA. She resided in Roanoke, VA until moving to the Nashville, TN area in 2008 to live with one of her son's and his family. Ms. McCullough was a selfless woman with a huge heart, always thinking of others first. She was a woman of high faith and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Berta Bowles; son, John Shannon McCullough and wife, Lisa, and their children, Christian and Cassidy; son, Joe McCullough and wife Michelle, and their children, Braedon, Caitlin, and Annabelle; two sisters, Shelva Jean Fordyce and Margaret Dickson, and husband Fred; a dear friend of TN, Cindy Hoppes and husband Rick; dear friend of Roanoke,VA, Karen Garrett; and nephews Dan Fordyce, R.G. Markham, and Ken Fordyce. Funeral service celebrating Ms. McCullough's life will be held 11:00am Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Simpson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
