Julie, we are so sorry to hear about Jake’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We have so many fond memories of watching the July 4th fireworks sitting in your Mom’s backyard. It was so nice getting together with Lanny’s family and getting to know you’all. We know Jake had been very ill for awhile. Brenda kept me informed. May he rest in peace
Love,
Janet & Rudy

We are so sorry to learn of Jakie's passing. Early in my career I had the pleasure of working with him at Inland Motors. What a great guy he was!

Martha and I are saddened by Jakie's death. Martjha was in his class from the first grade, so the last time I got to see Jakie was at their class reunion a few years ago. We offer our condolences and our prayers to the family. I know you have many memories that you will cherish in the days ahead.

Dear Julie,
I and all of your friends are so distressed and sorry for the passing of Jakie. He was truly one terrific and very special guy! His impact on those who knew him was impressive!
All of us who played ball with him very much admired his attitude, effort, enthusiasm and definitely his ability. We are so thankful that they decided to put Jakie into the “RHS Athletic Hall of Fame.” His former players like Randy Whitt, Wayne Brooks, I and many others were just thrilled to celebrate with him his induction. We also thoroughly enjoyed the meal, football game, pictures, and shared time with Jakie. It was great for all of us. Lee, I remember too just how much enjoyment you said you saw in Jakie really relishing and enjoying the whole weekend.
Our very fond memories of Jakie go forward and strengthen our lives for all of us for rest of our lives.
Praise God and Thank You Jesus for the great life of Jakie Slusher. We celebrate his life, we love him, and his memory stays firmly with us always. Amen.
Most sincerely yours,
Doug Fitzpatrick
