Edith E. Moore, 81, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 29, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ollie Fisher, husband, Jesse J. Moore, son, James "Beaver" Moore, grandson Travis Moore as well as her five brothers. Mrs. Moore retired after 25 yeas of service with Tultex. Surviving are her daugher, Sandra G. Moore; sons, Bobby Moore and wife Judy, Jesse Moore and wife Lesa, Ricky Moore and wife Teresa; daughter-in-law, Joyce Moore; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2012 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Troy Keaton. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
