Jack P. Kinder of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Jack was preceded by his son, Michael Edwards.
Mr. Kinder retired from Henebry's Jewelers after 15 years of service, and then went to work at Hart Motors for 8 years. His kindness affected many people when he worked, that even after he retired many customers became long time friends and kept in touch regularly. Jack was loved by many and will be dearly missed by them all. Besides his family, he loved animals and supported the ASPCA.
He is survived by his loving bride of 35 years Nancy Kinder; daughter, Tricia McClain of Spartanburg, SC; host of other loving family members, and he was especially loved and cared for by his niece & nephew Pete & Terri; five special friends, Jeff Thomas, David Frydrych, Al Angel, Dwayne Gillespie, and Lloyd Miller; as well as his canine companion ,Annie.
