Vernon M. (Mont) Keeling 84 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 21, 2012. He was preceded by his daughter, Rebecca Lynn Keeling Shepherd. Mr. Keeling was a long time member of Troutville Baptist Church.
Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Keeling; sons, David M. Keeling, Richard W. Keeling; four grandchildren; brother, John M. "Bobby" Keeling; many dear friends and his faithful canine companion, Rosey.
A graveside service celebrating Mr. Keeling's life will be held 11:00am Monday, December 24, 2012 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carol Johnston officiating.
