Gary William Wygal, Sr. 75, of Salem died suddenly Saturday, December 15, 2012. He has joined his wife, Ninevah, parents, William and Lillian Wygal, and a brother Arlen Wygal in heaven. He was retired from Advance Auto Parts. Mr. Wygal was an active member and trustee at Goodwin Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a 50 year member of Taylor Masonic Lodge and also a member of Kazim Shrine Temple. Surviving are his son, Gary William Wygal, Jr. of Salem; daughter, Vicki Wygal also of Salem; grandchildren, Samantha and Paige Stinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Goodwin Memorial United Methodist Church C/O Rev. James S. Angle 3730 Knollridge Road Apt. 404 Salem, Virginia 24153 or to the Kazim Transportation Fund 628 West Campbell Avenue Roanoke, Virginia 24016. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. James S. Angle. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
