Obituary of Linda Martin Boitnott

Linda Martin Boitnott, 69, of Troutville went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 16, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with COPD and lung cancer.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Morris Martin and her momma, Helen Martin.

Surviving to cherish her memory after 49 years of marriage is her husband, Coland Boitnott; daughters, Michelle Wilson and husband Joey; and Coleen Boitnott; grandchildren, Brent Price, Justin Boitnott, Alexis and Elish Fitzgerald, Landyn and Aidan Wilson; great grandchild, Austin Goad; brother, Michael Martin and wife Mary; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Earl and Mellisa Boitnott;  and Linda's loving companion, Alex.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Care and Good Samaritan Hospice for their many acts of kindness and compassion.

A graveside service will be conducted Noon Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Sherwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  366-0707
