Timothy B. (Big Tim) Baker, 43, of Moneta went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 26, 2012. He was preceded in death by his sons, Matthew and Brian Baker, parents, Hal and Dorothy Baker and a sister, Deborah Baker. Surviving are his wife, Leigh Williams Baker; children, Samuel and Abigail Baker; mom, Sue Backus; brother, Brian Brown; and sister, Brandy Farley. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
