Obituary of Ronnie Flint

Ronnie Flint 70 of Roanoke passed away Thursday June 28, 2018. He was preceded by his twin brother, Rodney Dale Flint and his parents, Robert and Rose Flint..

Ronnie retired from Norfolk Southern Railway after many years of service. After retiring, he founded Professional Security and the Roanoke Range. Ronnie enjoyed meeting and talking to everyone. A very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend that will be dearly missed by all.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 39 years, Judy Flint; sons, Ronald Dustin Flint; daughters, Joy Lynn Henritze and husband Ricky, and Sherry Chocklett and husband Brian all of Roanoke; 8 grandchildren, Justine, Ricky, Katie, Douglas, Travis, Hayley, Joanne, and Adan Swann; and 8 great grandchildren, Camron, Michael, Maria, Ryln, Bobbielynn, Rachel, Bryson, and Haven. . Along with a brother, Danny Flint and wife Mary Jane, and friends, Whitey Taylor, Leo Ingram, and Wayne Palmer and many other dear friends and canine companions, “Boomer”, “GoTanks”, “Lokey”, and “Youi”.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday July 2, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor Whitey Taylor officiating. Interment will follow later in the week. Family will receive friends Sunday July 1, 2018 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home.
