Obituary of Clara Lawrence Smith

Clara Lawrence Smith 91 of Roanoke formerly of Montgomery County passed away Tuesday June 5, 2018.She was preceded by her parents, Hubert L. and Kayoula Lawrence, along with three sisters, Fannie Mae Webster, Annie Arwilda Heslep, and Betty Joyce Lawrence.

Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Crowell Smith; a brother, Elwood Lawrence and wife Helen: nieces, Nancy Waddell and husband Danny, Patricia Hall and husband Darien, and Brenda Daughterty and husband Wayne; nephews, Roger Heslep and wife Myrteen, Richard Heslep, and Jimmy Lawrence and wife Peggy. Along other relaives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Living Well Church, 4335 West Main St, Salem, VA 24153 in her memory.

A graveside service will held 1:00pm Friday June 8, 2018 in Sherwood Memorial Park with Rev. Steve Parker officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:30am until 12:30pm Friday at the funeral home.
