I am sorry for your lost. Norris was a very dear man. He was a part of my growing up and my adult life. I will never forget how kind he was to me when we lost my Daddy. I know that he did a lot through the years for a lot of people. Giving of himself was just Norris' way. He will not be forgotten.

I will always remember growing up and Norris being around the fire station. Every time he saw me I got a big hug. He was such a special soul. Prayers during this time of grief.

I always loved talking to Mr. Martin about his garden, current events and his daughter and my dear friend Angie. He liked to tease me, Frank and our boys about UVA's football team - he had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.I am thinking of the Gerry, Angie, Larry and Kay during this difficult time.

Dear Geraldine, Larry and Angie also Ms Betty - My heart goes out to you in your time of sadness and loss. I know Mr Norris was very special to each of you. I honestly can say I remember very little about Norris because I was so young when he was at Granny Mary's house but I do remember him working hard and memories of him driving by our house. But I just wanted to tell you all how sorry I was to hear your sad news and you all will be in my prayers. With Sincerest of Hearts, Valerie Yopp Tolbert

My condolences to his beloved family who he was so proud of. Norris was my precious friend while I lived at Camp. He spoiled me with flower clippings, painted living rooms (Navajo White), heart shaped rocks, inside jokes and long visits on Labor Day weekends. Much love to Gerry, who made my wedding cake and all of the birthday cakes for my kids. Two great friends to have.

My family and I have fond memories of Norris, from our Mason's Cove days. He was so kind, energetic, enthusiastic, inspiring. He welcomed me when I felt like a stranger to the community. We are so sorry for your loss.

When they go, they leave a heartache that no one can ever make better. His love for you leaves so many memories that no one else can take away. It is these memories that I pray your family finds the strength and courage during this sad and difficult time. He spirit continues to live on within you and your family. If a man's wealth is measured by the love of his family and friends, they he was truly a wealthy man. May God's grace help you through this and give you strength.
Hal
